Frequently Asked Questions

I mainly work with businesses in the surf, wellness, hospitality, and lifestyle spaces — brands that are experience-driven and value quality, clarity, and long-term growth.
That said, what matters more than industry is mindset. I work best with business owners who want structure instead of chaos, and systems instead of one-off tactics.
-
No. Social media is often part of the work, but it’s never isolated.
I design marketing systems, which means social media, messaging, ads, email, SEO, and web all work together instead of competing for attention. Social content performs better when it’s supported by a clear strategy and direction.
-
Systems don’t have to be complicated.
A system simply means:
Clear messaging
Consistent direction
Content that has a purpose
Marketing channels that support each other
Most businesses aren’t failing because they’re doing too little — they’re overwhelmed because everything is disconnected. My role is to bring clarity and cohesion.
-
I offer both.
You can work with me on stand-alone services (like social media, email marketing, ads, or strategy), or through the SoShells Suite, where I act as an external marketing department and oversee everything together.
I’ll always recommend the setup that actually makes sense for your business — not what creates more work for you.
-
Not much.
After the initial alignment and strategy phase, my clients usually spend just a few focused hours per month reviewing direction, approving content, and sharing updates. The goal is to remove marketing from your daily mental load — not add to it.
-
I handle strategy, direction, copy, structure, and execution.
If you already have photo or video assets, I can work with those. If not, I offer creative direction and optional photo/video production to build evergreen content that can be reused across platforms.
-
Nothing wrong with AI, but I only use it as support when needed. But the short answer is no.
All strategy, messaging, and creative direction is human-led. I don’t rely on AI to replace thinking, positioning, or creative judgment.
-
Marketing isn’t instant, and I’m transparent about that.
The first few weeks are focused on building a strong foundation. From there, consistency compounds. Clients usually notice clearer messaging, smoother execution, and better alignment first — results follow when the system has time to work.
-
Pricing depends on scope, goals, and how integrated your setup needs to be.
I work on monthly retainers and project-based engagements, with custom proposals after a short conversation. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all pricing because no two businesses are at the same stage.
