Marketing shouldn’t feel loud, chaotic, or forced.

A woman with dark, wavy hair and earrings standing on the beach with ocean waves behind her, smiling with eyes closed.

My name is Lukene. I’m a creative marketer with a background in content strategy and digital systems.

Over the years, I’ve seen the same pattern repeat itself: brands doing a lot of marketing, but without structure.

Constant posting. Ads without direction. Jumping platforms. Burnout.

That’s where I come in.

My point of view

Marketing used to be simpler. Now it’s louder.

More platforms, more options, more pressure to do everything at once.

But growth doesn’t come from noise. It comes from clarity and consistency.

I believe marketing should feel aligned with your business — not forced, not disconnected from your long-term goals.

My job isn’t to make things flashy.
It’s to make them work.

How I got here

Before marketing, I was working as a surf and brand photographer (well, I still do).

Being immersed in the surf and creative industries shaped the way I see brands — not just as businesses, but as ecosystems made up of people, culture, and lifestyle.

Over time, that creative work naturally led me into marketing. I started seeing how many great brands had strong visuals and values, but no structure behind them.

I’ve now been working in marketing for over four years, combining creative direction with strategy and systems — especially for lifestyle, surf, and experience-driven brands.

Creativity is still a big part of my world. It just lives inside a framework that actually supports growth

How I work

I don’t do quick fixes or random tactics.

I focus on understanding the business first — building strong foundations through strategy, structure, and systems.

The goal is marketing that compounds over time, not constant hustle.

I work closely with a small number of clients so I can stay fully involved and intentional throughout the process.

Who I work best with

I work best with businesses that:

Are established.

Care about quality over volume.

Want clarity, not chaos.

Are open to building things properly, even if it takes time.

I’m probably not a fit if you’re looking for:

Overnight results.

Constant pivoting.

Trend-driven or reactive marketing.
